Pearl Jam: Do the Evolution by Kevin Altieri and Todd McFarlane

To celebrate the return of the 6th Comica Festival, our movie this week is the music video for American grungers Pearl Jam and their fantastic track, Do the Evolution. The video was co-directed by Kevin Altieri, the director responsible for animations including The Real Ghostbusters and Batman: The Animated Series, and legendary comic book artist and creator of the Spawn series, Todd McFarlane.

The animated video presents the evolution of humankind in less than 4 minutes. It travels from the beginning of creation to the future destruction of the human race via some of the darkest moments in human history – “It’s evolution, baby.”
