This graphic new video from Jonathan Glazer sees The Dead Weather duo, Jack White and Alison Mosshart, in a contemporary Western style shootout. It’s a moody, violent portrayal of a relationship gone sour, where the couple armed with machine guns and rapid fire lyrics, try to gun each other down.

There’s some nice behind the scenes footage on Flux that’s worth checking out and a brief interview with the director Jonathan Glazer, who has been creating commercials (Guiness, Sony Bravia), music videos (Radiohead, UNKLE) and feature films (Sexy Beast, Birth) since the nineties, winning the MTV Director of the Year in 1997.

The Treat Me Like Your Mother video has been nominated for the Best Rock Video category at the 2009 UK Music Video Awards, which take place on 13 October at Odeon West End.
