Rabbit, Run Wrake, 2005

Get ready to strap yourselves in for a ten-day blast of animation from around the world at the 7th London International Animation Festival.

Running from 27 August – 5 September across four venues, highlights this year include the International Programmes competition, a selection of animated documentaries, a techniques focus on “Scratch” Film and – last but by no means least – the AnimateTV retrospective.

Coinciding with the publication of the dvd AnimateTV: 20 Years of Experimental Animation from the UK this screening on 28 August at The Horse Hospital will include 10 key works from AnimateTV’s back catalogue of new commissions, and will be followed by a short panel discussion. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased here.

Can’t wait till then? Then watch a trailer of the dvd below.
