15th February, Tim Webb
Love gone wrong in 294 cuts.
Tim Webb’s film is a wonderful antidote to the horror of the annual festival of misery that is Valentine’s Day. Here Tim Webb captures the madness of love in six minutes; where the anxiety around sending a Valentine’s card degenerates into a disturbing revelation of the psyche of its sender. The mix of live action and animation accompanied by Peter Reading‘s wonderful poem is exquisite.
