The Orizzonti section at Venice Film Festival
Venice – surely the world’s top notch film event – has announced that its Orizzonti section dedicated to “new trends” in world cinema is to open itself to all “extra-format” works. We’re not sure what that means, but it includes short films, and the Festival promises “a broader and more dynamic overview of the new forms adopted by the expressive languages used in cinema.”
Orizzonti will become a “laboratory” for different artistic languages. We hope to bring you more on this exciting and important development..
