Noise (film still), Fiona Skinner

And the winner is… Fiona Skinner’s film, featuring former The Smith’s guitarist Johnny Marr, is the winner of the Ed Ruscha: Fifty Years of Painting film challenge. A competition set by the Southbank Centre to find a 30-second film about the Hayward Gallery exhibition. The competition was judged by artists Louise Wilson and Jeremy Deller and Director of the Hayward Gallery Ralph Rugoff.
